This exquisite handmade orgonite pendant features an Awen copper symbol embedded in orgonite resin.
The Awen is a symbol that is deeply entrenched in Welsh tradition and contemporary Druidry, typically depicted by three rays of light radiating from three points within a circle. It signifies inspiration, creativity, and divine illumination, embodying the flowing spirit or energy that interconnects all things.
The three lines often symbolize the Bard, Ovate, and Druid paths within Druidry, or the concepts of mind, body, and spirit, or land, sea, and sky.
The unique composition of this orgonite consists of a carefully prepared proportions of resin, copper, quartz, and shungite, a distinctive form of carbon known for its ability to harmonize energies and protect the wearer from lower frequencies.
Orgonite is a composite material created by mixing together metal and crystal particles in an organic resin. It was invented by Karl Welz who developed the material based upon Wilhelm Reich's research into 'orgone energy'.
Orgonite has the special ability to absorb 'orgone' energy (also known as chi, prana, life force energy, and aether), from the surroundings, and transform any negative aspects into positive, uplifting and healing energies.
Awen Orgonite Pendant
Shungite is a special form of carbon primarily found in Shunga, a village in Karelia, Russia. It consists of 3-D spherical molecules made of 60 carbon atoms in the shape of a football, and these are commonly referred to as 'buckyballs'.
The origins of shungite are quite a mystery, as it is believed to be over 2 billion years old, predating the existence of organic life on Earth.
A study in 2003 suggested that shungite may be able to reduce the harmful effects of electromagnetic radiation. Shungite is also known to lower stress levels, repel negative energies, and balance emotions.
The necklace cord is made from natural 2mm leather and is available in various lengths, with a choice of clasps:
- a stainless steel 'lobster' clasp,
- a magnetic clasp, or
- an adjustable 'slip knot' type that can be tailored to your desired length.
This Awen pendant showcases the natural copper-brown hue of the orgonite and has dimensions of 2cm in width, 2.8cm in length, and 0.8cm in depth. It can be customized with up to 3 inlaid initials on the back in either gold or silver.
